Waterfall Wood Cottage, as the name suggests, is next to a waterfall, and positioned amongst woodland. Inside is comfy and cosy, location wise it is situated just above the village of Glenridding, on one of the main walking routes to Helvellyn and Sunday Crag, and many many more, straight from your doorstep. This traditional, stone-built cottage has excellent quality furnishings and every appliance to ensure guests’ comfort. A feature of the cottage is the garden, where you can enjoy the fantastic views, and serene sound of the nearby waterfall. The cottage also benefits from underfloor heating. You can walk Helvellyn straight from your door, plus many great walks in this impressive valley. Situated a 10-minute walk away is Ullswater, where there are many lovely walks, including the spectacular Aira Force Waterfall. The less energetic could take a cruise on the Ullswater steamers and fish on the lake. Shop, pub and restaurant nearby in Glenridding and Patterdale within walking distance.
