All great but we would have liked to be able to reach the owner before the stay (I tried to call several times but no answer and no possibility to leave a message). Else the house is well located, comfortable and rather well equipped. It just miss a coffee machine, a larger bin, and some instructions for the garbage collection (containers were full and very smelly when we arrived and we never found how to recycle the glass).

View from this cottage is absolutely stunning! Cottage is spacious and clean, and has evething you need, of great quality. One small point: no coffee maker present.

Ideal position for a group of us to base ourselves for some diving and fishing launching a boat in the harbour.

Lovely equiped cottage for disabled only fault we found was furniture the 2 sofas once you sat on them you sank in my husband and i couldnt get up without a hand from son.the dining chairs sold would so couldnt sit for long on them .as it rained most of week i spent most time laid on the bed .the upstairs bed my son and his wife used found themselves rolling into middle of bed maybe a furniture udate required other than that smashing .was supposed to be six of us but ended up 4 haakon bar very friendly :)

Lovely cottage with a wonderful view. Comfortable and well equipped. Provisions were left for our arrival which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom would be helpful for people of limited mobility or a wheelchair user. I've stopped in Skye many times but never previously in Kyleakin but now it would be my preferred place to stay. The local people were very helpful and friendly.

We had an amazing time. The cottage was lovely - comfortable and cosy and the only thing missing (for us) was a log burner, although it wasn't needed as the heating was more than good enough. Kitchen was very well equipped with quality cookware and, unusually for holiday lets, sharp knives (it's the little things ...). There was only the two of us, so we didn't use upstairs but we were very comfortable with the spacious ground floor accommodation. The cottage is ideally placed for touring Skye, and also access to the mainland for supplies and the West Coast. The glass bottomed boat trip is a must - we were extremely lucky and were the only two on a 2 hour trip. Our one disappointment is that the cottage is not available for Christmas and New Year!

Loved our stay in the cottage. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve booked again for next year.
