Please note There are 5 steps in the garden.\nWest Home is a spacious detached holiday bungalow set in spectacular surroundings with Loch Torridon views from the picture windows in the living room. With generously proportioned rooms throughout the property enjoys magnificent views of the surrounding Torridon Hills with Liathach Mountain lying just beyond the enclosed lawned garden. The open fire provides a cosy and warm welcome for guests and the well-equipped farmhouse-style kitchen offers a dining table that is perfect for group meals together. There are two good sized bedrooms and one has an en-suite ensuring a relaxing and comfortable stay. Situated on the edge of Torridon village it is just a short walk to the local amenities including a small shop and café. The area has much to offer outdoor enthusiasts with superb walks from the doorstep canoeing fishing golf and cycling all available locally. With beautiful sunsets over the loch West Home is an ideal base from which to relax and unwind.     A very well equipped cottage, spacious and comfortable. Being a mobility scooter user there were several routes which were excellent for such use. The National Trust for Scotland provided one excellent route. The popularity of the NC500 north of Scotland route is leading to a ridiculous number of motorbikes, some in convoys of 12 to 14, mainly of Germanic origin travelling at Teutonic speed.

    Fantastic cottage with everything you might ever need on self catering holiday. Very clean and tidy inside. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen and lounge offer plenty of space. Stunning views whichever way you look. In my opinion this cottage is located in the best possible spot in the entire Torridon region. It’s within 5-10 minutes walk from hiking routes, cafes and restaurants serving delicious local food. Simply stunning!

    This was a lovely home from home cottage which has good facilities and equipment and the most wonderful outlook onto Loch Torridon. So come rain or shine you were well catered for. There are walks from the cottage and many close by, both short and long, which added to our pleasure by not having to drive far. The owners were helpful and telephoned on route which I thought a nice touch.

    Fantastic location, in the village of Torridon, looking directly south across Loch Torridon to Ben Damph. With binoculars we saw a Sea Eagle being mobbed by crows. The cottage is very well appointed, and has pretty well all the kitchen equipment you could need. It is warm and comfortable, though you need to set the night storage radiators with the following days forecast in mind! The TV is good, and gets good reception. We got mobile coverage for both O2 and for EE/3. The wifi works fine, with a speed of about 5-6mbps, fast enough to do the basics. The village only has a very small shop/cafe, with just the basics, but there are slightly larger shops in Kinlochewe and Shieldaig, both less than 30 minutes away. This was our second visit, and we will be returning again.

    we loved west home and will definitely be back soon,the only object we missed was a drier especially when you holiday later in the year,its the only cottage in the 12 years of holidays that didnt have one. beautiful area ,torridon is top of our list of places to live when we move permanently to wester ross in the near future.
