    A warm welcome was given by Allan and Linda the owners of Ashgarth Cottage. Nothing was too much trouble and every detail was given to make our stay a pleasant one. A lovely welcome hamper together with the cottage decorated for our Christmas stay made for a very special holiday. The cottage is situated 2 miles from Pickering so is convenient for most things. The cottage itself is bigger than we imagined.

    This was an absolutely faultless property set in a lovely location. The owners Alan and Linda, offered a warm, personal welcome on our arrival and were always available if needed but not by any means intrusive. The cottage is warm, spotlessly clean and exceptionally well equipped. The location is ideal for sightseeing with lots to do and see within a 30 minute radius. We would love to return and would highly recommend this property.

    We are still in the post-holiday glow, having had a wonderful stay at Ash Garth Cottage. The standard of equipment and furnishings is very high, there’s a lovely view and parking is easy. The hosts were kind and welcoming. We want to return- soon.

    What a find,this beautiful cottage with a very warm welcome from Alan and Linda.An amazing welcome basket greets you inside and you are provided with everything you could wish for.All in all a perfect week in perfect surroundings and a cottage you would be happy to return to again and again.

    We had a very enjoyable week at Ashpit Cottage( now renamed as Ashgarth Cottage ). Alan & Linda make you most welcome and go out of their way to make sure all is fine. The cottage is very homely and cosy it is also extremely well equiped
