We spent Christmas at Ashpit Cottage and can't recommend it or our hosts highly enough. Utterly relaxing in a gloriously comfortable cottage in idyllic surroundings. Pickering 6 miles one way and Malton 6 miles the other, so no problem purchasing foodstuffs. Our hosts left us in peace, but were about if needed - perfect. The level of comfort and mod cons (including two bathrooms and underfloor heating) made our Christmas. Thank you.

One of best places we’ve stayed. Welcome hamper, lots of unexpected stuff such as dressing gowns, perfectly clean and everything we needed equipment wise. We will be staying again.
