Adjacent to one another and next to the owner’s home they have been thoughtfully renovated offering a good feeling of space with high vaulted beamed ceilings and open plan living space. Brook Barn has a cosy wood burner and Meadow Barn is accessed through the former stablefarmyard and has a very rustic feel and a unique carved staircase made out of local trees and with iron railings to look like the branches of the tree The first floor galleried bedroom area with single bed gives the impression of sleeping in a tree house Both properties have a ground floor double bedroom and a first floor double bedroom with a single Z-bed for additional sleeping for children. There is also a cart on-site which offers fresh vegetables honesty box.\nThis is a wonderful setting for discovering the New Forest the area is abundant in wildlife with deer pheasants badgers and birds and many scenic walks. What an amazing place. The location was perfect with ponies trotting past the gate throughout the day and the forest on your doorstep. The barn itself was presented in a rustic fashion and very comfortable. And the amenities for the dogs were brilliant . We had a lovely four nights and hope to book up again- might book both barns and have a family gathering.

My family and dogs loved staying at meadow barn. Walks from the doorstep. Pretty ponies and great pubs. Sarah the owner is helpful and on hand if needed. The accommodation was comfortable and welcoming.

We had a great holiday at meadow barn. The kids loved the horses and donkeys all around the cottage and loved popping out to the gate to admire the passing wildlife. The gated secure garden was a brilliant addition, we could let the kids go out to play without a worry about them. We loved the bbq and found a great local farm shop for fresh meat which was amazing bbqed. We had hoped for a few more cycle trails nearby but it didnt spoil the holiday. Crabbing in christchurch is another must if you have children. All in all a great relaxing stay.

Amazing holiday, 6 adults and 3 small dogs. We had everything we needed. Garden fully enclosed which we needed with small dogs. Ideal location. We went fruit picking, hired bikes found a local fish and chip shop a Chinese that delivered, location excellent and so many walks to choose from. You cannot fault this accommodation. Looking to book again for next year. Totally recommend.

Masterful barn conversion with lots of welcome treats

We enjoyed at Meadow Barn a pre Easter week with our daughter and her two children, aged 5 and 3. The accomodation was very comfortable and the Barn is very well equipped. The winner for us was the location. It is in the forest with ponies in the road outside. We had many lovely walks with the grandchildren enjoying splashing in the streams. The beach at Mudeford is not far away, and it is a great sandy beach, just right for "bucket and spade" age kids, particularly at low tide. Waitrose in Ringwood is close and was our "shop". A day trip to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight on the Lymington ferry was a great success. Sarah the owner, and the neighbours were very helpful. Overall I would, without hesitation, recommend Meadow Barn.
