Castle Heather is a semi-detached house, on the edge of Inverness, situated in a quiet, green spot away from the hustle-and-bustle. Spacious and comfortable, it will suit a family or couple(s) wanting a base close to the city centre and right in the heart of the Scottish Highlands! The main routes from Inverness are close by, so you can be away from Castle Heather and exploring Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield, the Moray Firth beaches in only 20 minutes. Charming Inverness itself is just 2 miles away, with its castle and lovely little city centre. You will find a great food and drink scene here, a café culture, and lots of fascinating Highland history. There are also amazing golf courses locally, including Inverness Golf Club and Kings Golf Club championship course. Castle Stuart Golf Links is just outside the city, and Nairn, Fortrose and Rosemarkie, as well as Royal Dornoch, are all just a short drive away, making Inverness a a bit of hidden golfing gem.
Further afield you have the Cairngorms National Park, NC500 and the Isle of Skye, all of which are easy day-trip locations from the house. Castle Heather is an excellent spot to recharge after days out exploring (or golfing!), and being based in Inverness, this is a superb choice if you want to get the most out of your visit to the Highlands!
