Condurrow cottage was a home from home, clean, comfortable and beautiful gardens to relax in. Lovely walks for both of our large dogs who loved st anthony’s which is just a 10 minute walk.

Very pretty cottage in a beautiful location our only disappointment was the many unexpected intrusions by various workmen - the gardener, the window cleaner, men repairing the garden wall and the owner popping in unannounced. In themselves not a great problem but it would have been nice to be asked as the privacy of our holiday was broken in to. Plus not knowing when the dogs could be out in the garden.

We have visited Cornwall and stayed in some beautiful cottages over the years, this cottage was Very disappointing, we arrived and were unable to gain access for some considerable time, the instructions were to ring the owner when we arrived to obtain door code, we kept getting her answer machine, we had no choice but to sit in the car and wait for her to respond, after an hour and a half we started looking for possible hidden keys, we eventually found a key, and the owner eventually returned a call the following day, and couldn't wait to get off the phone. When we arrived the Garden was full of dog poo, and discarded rubbish, and neighbouring farms 3 dogs running wild in the garden throughout our stay, garden is advertised 3 times on the website to be completely secure, this is not the case, your dogs can get out and others in, the garden is very overgrown and very untidy with discarded rubbish. House is very dirty & dusty in lots of areas, full of cobwebs and dead flies. Living room furniture very old and uncomfortable, curtains threadbare with sharp needle hooks, and very old, they are dirty & full of dead spiders. We could only light the log burner once as it smoked badly, we have a log burner at home and the one at this cottage needs cleaning, burner hadn't even been cleaned, just new logs put on top of mountain of ashes. We had to use the two portable heaters in the kitchen cupboard. Main Bedroom had dog wee stains on base of bed & on carpet, clearly other guests have allowed dogs upstairs and they have weed against the base of the bed, and Mattress protector was full of dirty brown stains. We would not recommend this cottage to anyone. Owner needs to pay much more attention to cleanliness and actually spend some money on decent furniture and curtains for guests comfort and not use the age of the cottage as an excuse to use tatty broken furniture.
