Please note There is a step from the driveway to the garden.\n This contemporary well-presented detached property is situated near the centre of the picturesque village of Brighstone on the Isle of Wight nestled between the northern downlands and the south-west facing sea of The English Channel. The village can be found about half way along the coastal route between Ventnor and Freshwater. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Harrys Hut is perfect for couples or families looking to enjoy time together in one of the most stunning parts of the Isle of Wight. Adjacent to the owners home the accommodation is all on one level and can sleep up to four people with two bedrooms laid out as one double and one twin room.\nThe pretty centre of Brighstone has a grocery shop a pub and a small restaurant and from the village centre it is possible to walk along the Tennyson Downs to Alum Bay in the west or to Carisbrooke at the heart of the Isle of Wight. The coastal path which runs right around the island also passes close by. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy locally opportunities for activities such as walking cycling and swimming are plentiful. You can even try your hand at paragliding if you are feeling adventurous There are numerous attractions to discover for all ages including The Needles with its amusement park boat rides lighthouse and famous chairlift down to the coloured sands of Alum Bay. Blackgang Chine the oldest themed attraction in the UK Ventnor Botanical Gardens Tapnell Farm Park and Carisbrooke Castle are all worth a visit. Alternatively why not visit Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence Osborne House and its gardens or the sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes? Beach 3½ miles.     Comfortable cottage in more rural area of the Isle of Wight, but still close enough to main sites. 30 minute drive to Osborne House and 20 minutes to The Needles car park for example. Large modern Co-op supermarket 20 minutes away in Freshwater. Good walks from the cottage, north into the countryside or south to the coast. We took the ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth, both comparatively small quiet places and had smooth easy journeys. Harry’s Hut had everything we needed for a week’s stay. There is also an air conditioning unit in the lounge, which proved very useful on hot days, and a smart TV with Netflix. Very enjoyable stay.

    Beautiful cottage in a beautiful village. Harry's Hut is home from home, beautifully furnished and in a peaceful location. Easily accessible to the pretty village of Brighstone, where the village shop sells everything, and to the coast, both of which are in walking distance. A very peaceful stay, would recommend to anyone and look forward to returning.

    Michelle was a great host and the hut was great situated in a lovely village. The weather was lovely and made most of the outside decking . Would definitely revisit !

    A peaceful location, but convenient for shops and pub. Very pleasant owner, there if needed, but not intrusive. Very comfortable beds. On the quieter side of the island, which suited us very well, but easy access to wherever you wanted to be. Close to the Military Road with its fantastic viewing points.
