On a small private estate the house backs onto a lovely riverside walk along the banks of the Spey and is furnished and equipped to a good standard. Peaceful and quiet yet within walking distance of Aberlour’s interesting shops and eateries the house makes a wonderful base to relax and enjoy the area’s many attractions. Accessed by a gate from the rear garden the Speyside Way as it is known meanders through the village through Strathspey down to Tomintoul taking in many well known distilleries on the Whisky Trail - ideal for walkers and cyclists alike. There is a large choice of golf courses within an hour’s drive and fishing can be arranged on the river with day permits available locally. The excellent beaches of the Moray Firth are just 20 miles away notably Lossiemouth and Nairn and the historic town of Elgin with its cathedral and Cashmere Centre is worth a visit.     This is a lovely family home in a great location and with a secure garden,in a location in the centre of Aberlour on the edge of the parkland leading down to the river Spey.

    Fantastic location with direct access to the river, walks, the Mash Tun bar/restaurant, and shops - visit the Speyside larder - really excellent. Spacious and warm. Would recommend

    Fantastic property in a great location. If you love whisky, enjoy walking and have a dog this is an ideal property. We will definitely be returning.

    Weekend stay for family wedding: 6 adults, 3 kids & 2 dogs. Playroom, garden swing & nearby swing park brilliant for kids; immediate access to Speyside Way ideal for dog walking; spacious and comfortable bedrooms meant good night's sleep for everyone. Well equipped kitchen & plenty of seating for dining & relaxing. Only slight downside was poor quality tv reception - could only access programmes via catchup tv. Would definitely recommend & visit again.
