The Bothy is a charming cottage with an interesting history . Cosy and warm with everything you would need for a comfortable stay . Nice touches like champagne , biscuits and a welcome card on the table on arrival . A lovely surprise !

This is an absolutely delightful cottage, well equipped and with lots of lovely touches. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. The only improvement I can suggest, is that the number of heaters is increased, as this was not always quite sufficient.

We liked The Bothy very much but it was let down by being too cold, despite the owners kindly leaving the gas Woodburner running well before our arrival. We stayed during December whilst attending a party locally and the location is excellent, the cottage is very well equipped with some thoughtful touches such as a tea cosy which is such a good idea and appears to be very unusual in a holiday cottage. We discovered that there were some light bulbs missing and the owner helpfully and very swiftly came over with a lamp. The bathroom is interesting in that you have to sort of climb in under a beam so be reasonably agile. The water was very hot and plentiful which was necessary as the sky light window above appeared to be single glazed and not sealed so that a cold wind whistled through making it impossible to keep the bathroom warm. However the weather became milder towards the end of our weekend and the cottage did then feel very warm and cosy. During warmer weather this would be a very nice cottage to stay and despite the cold we did have a lovely weekend and did love the Bothy.

Nice little cottage. Very warm. Drive is very awkward to get in and out of due to traffic speeding through village.

We loved The Bothy. Very friendly owners. Some agility needed for bath/ shower but this was fine for us. Clun is a great location for walks from tbe door with pubs just across the road.
