The Signal Box is an unusual property that offers something special and just a little bit different. There are superb views through the trees across the river and to the valley beyond. With direct access to almost 4-acres of outdoor space there is an extensive network of private footpaths to explore at your leisure. Walkers and dog owners will love the convenience that this stunning property offers.\nThe building has been extensively renovated and converted into a wonderful property. It has been thoughtfully furnished and well-equipped with an upside down layout and an open plan living space comprising of a kitchen dining area and a comfortable living area complete with a cosy wood burner. A spiral staircase brings you downstairs where you will find a large shower room and two comfortable bedrooms.\nThe local town of Kingsbridge retains its character offering a wide variety of independent shops boutiques cafés and supermarkets. Just 220 yards downstream on the opposite side of the riverbank is the Avon Mill Garden Centre and alongside it you will find the small deli shops and a gallery which boasts a fabulous café. Nearby there are many historic houses including Agatha Christie’s Greenway Saltram and Overbecks whilst Dartmouth and Totnes both have castles to explore. Close by you will find the South Hams beautiful beaches and some breathtaking coastal paths including Bantham Bigbury on Sea South Milton Sands and Hope Cove. Lovers of the outdoors wildlife and history will all discover something truly magical about this fabulous area. Beach 6 miles.     Unique property excellently presented. Superb owners who have given the Signal Box a lot of thought. Great venue for a quiet relaxing holiday. With little extras to kick start your stay.

    This is an immaculate holiday home, very comfortable and well-equipped. Lovely views from the large windows and some local wildlife, including rabbits in the garden. The gardens lead to a riverside walk and connect to a public path for longer walks, ideal for a stroll without having to take the car. Good base to explore the surrounding area and a couple of excellent cafes within a mile for superb breakfasts. Only difficulty is narrow, winding lanes locally so not really practical to walk to them. Nearest pub and larger shop are in village a couple of miles away.

    A lovely way to spend an anniversary week. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable and the owners were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, we spent some of our time walking in the vicinity. Salcombe and Dartmouth were nearby and many beaches.
