The Wyvis is an excellent base from which to explore the Highlands. You can quickly get out into the dramatic landscapes and see many world-famous sights. The NC500 is to the north and west, and you can follow the road north to reach the apartments namesake Munro: Ben Wyvis, known as the Inverness Munro. East you’ll find beaches, the lovely Black Isle and the resident pod of dolphins in the Moray Firth, as well Culloden Battlefield. South are the magnificent Cairngorm Mountains with ski stations and hiking trails. And to the west mysterious Loch Ness is just beyond the city limits and it marks the beginning of a Highland and island journey to the likes of Skye.
