Very enjoyable stay, luxurious comfortable accommodation. The ducks, geese and guinea fowl were a bonus.

Lily pad lodge is absolutely amazing.....we had a fantastic long weekend. It’s beautiful, spacious, clean and very relaxing.

Beautiful place to stay, so peaceful and lots of lovely countryside to explore. Even our 2 teenage boys were happy wifi and hot tub. The Ducks were a delight to sit and watch. Never too far to drive to see the sights. We visited Lincoln, Skegness, Boston and Cleethorpes. The accommodation was immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. We would highly recommend this place.

We have just got back after throughly enjoying a much needed break at Lily Pad Lodge. When searching for places to stay, it can be very tricky finding a place that ticks boxes for everyone so when we came across Lily Pad Lodge we were so pleased. It did not disappoint. By far the best family/dog friendly place we have stayed at. Luxurious decor, furniture and appliances plus suitable for all. The lodge is simply stunning and had pretty much everything we needed even the little things. We were greeted by a lovely thoughtful hamper of goodies for both us and the dog. Location was lovely and peaceful and allowed us the chance to put our phones down, switch off for the week and enjoy some quality family time. We stayed during the heatwave which caused the lodge to get incredibly hot especially at night. We couldn’t see any air con system. Had I of checked the weather predictions I would of taken some fans for the rooms. We did meet the owner during our time at the lodge who was very welcoming and did mention that if we needed anything to just call but we didn’t want to feel awkward. The only negative thing about the lodge is we did find it needs a good dust. There are lots of spider webs and flies which are expected when it’s particularly hot but I’ve never seen so many flies. Because of this we didn’t want to open any windows and tried to keep the doors closed as much as we could which didn’t help with the heat! Apart from that minor grumble, It’s very clear the owners have put a lot of time and effort into the lodge, thinking of everything to ensure an enjoyable experience all round. Thank you so much for a lovely break.

Superb accommodation that exceeded our already high expectations. In a fantastic quiet setting. Most dog friendly place we have stayed. Plenty of dog friendly pubs within driving distance. 7/10 for local amenities but that is one of its plus points, it really is a get away from it all retreat. Dog friendly beaches a bit of a drive but worth it when you get there. Hot tub a bonus! Friendly animal loving hosts. We can't imagine anyone would be disappointed if you are looking for a get away from it all break.

We have stayed in many holiday cottages and this was by far the best and most luxurious. We had an amazing time. Thank you.

Firstly, we’d like to thank the owners of Lily Pad Lodge for having us. We had a lovely, relaxing stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time in their beautiful cottage. The owners were kind and considerate of their guests and we always felt very safe yet very private in the house/garden area. The house is STUNNING. Pictures do not do it justice! We especially enjoyed watching the birds from the hot tub and waking up to the sound of the bird and and the sun peaking through the windows in the master bedroom on a morning. Our only minor comments would be that we found the cottage, although amazingly beautiful both on the outside and the inside, could’ve been cleaned a little better than was left for us on arrival. For example, some of the cutlery in the drawer was dirty and the fridge also. Maybe we do look at things too closely and this also wasn’t too much of an issue as we just washed everything we needed to use, however we just wanted to point this out as a friendly suggestion to check these things a bit more closely. We also would like to recommend a memory foam mattress topper for the main bedroom, as we did find the mattress to be not the comfiest. We would like to stress that these are very minor gripes that we found with this very beautiful property, however again, we are only sharing this in order to help the lovely owners to improve and adapt their gorgeous property. Despite these comments, me and my partner had the most amazing stay in the most amazing property and we are already considering returning for another getaway. It was exactly what we were looking for in the most tranquil location and all we can say is that if you are looking at this property and considering booking... DO IT!!!

We booked a 3 day break for a friends birthday (2 couple's). The cottage certainly has the wow factor. We went to relax, eat and drink which we did and the cottage was a perfect place to do it.
