This was our third visit , there is always something to do for adults and children and we will be back
Fab time had by all, kids especially
great fun good family accomodation plenty to enjoy for the kids
Stayed in a Luxury Lodge and it was luxury. Very well maintained, everything seemed brand new. Perfect for us as couple with children and grand parents all staying together, that extra room makes all the difference. Loved the en-suite to the master bedroom and walk in wardrobe and the patio doors leading to the decked area.
The park is great. Lots to do. Our 2 year old loved the Pirate Soft Play and the outside splash parks. Zoo animals looked happy and had loads of room. Talks by keepers were informative and entertaining.
We stayed in the week during June and not all the smaller rides were open. The cable cars or the monorail weren't working. Neither was the chinese restaurant.
we were disappointed that all the restaurants & cafes weren't open on our holiday as we were then given very little choice
Great place, kids (old and young) loved the rides, couple of the staff could have done with being a bit more pro active with the service in the restaurants,
Overall we had a great time and although it was a little expensive for the week(probably because it was Easter) it exceeded my expectations based on reviews id read. We liked the fact that you could walk onto the park unhindered whenever you wanted. The swimming pool was good albeit a little cold and there were a good number of lifeguards on duty. The gym was also a welcome bonus. The changing rooms were very clean. Generally the staff in the resort and park were friendly and attentive, particularly in the zoo areas, however the restaurant staff in the Coachhouse were disappointing enough to warrant a comment - We ate there one evening and although there were only 2 other groups in there, the 3 members of staff remained at the bar laughing and gossiping amongst themselves and only pulled themselves away from their chatter to take the order and bring the food out - no greeting? no how's your meal? no can I get you the desert menu? nothing. I must say though that the actual food was very good. We ate all other evening meals at restaurants in the surrounding villages, so cant comment at the other eateries within Flamingo Land.
Would we holiday again Flamingo Land resort? Yes I think we would.
Pool could have been a bit bigger & Sauna wasn't working. Rides were good & didn't have large cues. Food was far too pricey for what you got.
